Companion/lead rein pony in Biggar, South Lanarkshire for sale

Hercules is an 11.1 hh welsh section a, 13 years old. He is a complicated wee guy who thrives on routine and calm consistent handling. He has obviously had a difficult time at some point in his life and takes a while to trust people but once he does he's a very rewarding little pony to have around. We have had him for nearly 7 years and all my children learnt to ride on him but he is sharp so not for everyone, he takes his confidence from his handler so whoever takes him needs to be experienced, caring and patient. That says he will happily potter about the field with little ones on his back he just gets rather excited if you take him to shows or pony club events! He needs very careful management food wise and preferably a school/bare paddock or very limited grass with a muzzle and soaked hay but he's happy being in or out on his own so would be a good companion either for something with similar management needs or something which is stabled a lot. He has recently been diagnosed with Cushing's and I would continue to pay for his medication while on loan. He will only go to a 10* home as he means the world to us but due to my health problems i really need to get back to just one pony that my daughter can ride. Please get in touch with any questions :)
